The smallest wind tunnel of our department is NPL (National Physical Laboratory)-type, the cross section of its test section is 0.5x0.5 m. It is completely made of wood and is mainly used for calibration of anemometers and for educational goals, but it is also suitable for scientific measurements. The maximum velocity of the wind tunnel is 15 m/s.
